Pay Stubs
#51
Dave,
Thank you for this post. I was one who was very angry when the company informed us paper pay stubs were no longer going to be mailed because:
1) I have experienced frequent IT problems when trying to view and especially print my pay stubs. (I recently applied for a loan and had to print copies: PITA for sure.)
2) Having the stub show up in the mail was a perfect opportunity for me to do a quick check to see if what I expected to be there was there, and in the last year this has saved me several hundred dollars in mistakes that the company made in reimbursements. Without paper stubs actually showing up in front of my face I'd have to have the personal discipline to view the online document on a regular basis.
3) I hope that the incredibly stupid and wasteful 2 page format of our current pay stub would be simplified back to a 1 page advice sheet once the company is forced to pay double postage for every advice they send. (I asked a person from payroll if I paid the postage and was told that the company pays. She might be wrong but that is what I was told.)
Anyways,
Thank-you!

Sunvox, this is from FlyingTogether(Skynet).
"If you choose to receive information electronically and later need to get paper copies, you can always change your delivery preferences. Go to the Personal Information page under Your Profile. Paper copies sent by postal mail are also available at any time. All of this is available at no cost to you."

Just to keep everyone honest, "flying together" is literally the old "coair" site from CAL with flying together copy/pasted at the top where "my coair" used to be. Skynet was basically shut down and everyone was moved to the continental site which was renamed flying together.

Why do most of the pages say skynet.ual.com? Do you really think the crack group of IT people that Jeff brought onboard could have gotten to this considering they haven't gotten the payroll right. Doesn't take into consideration the poor performance of the passenger reservation system. Give it Up - FlyingTogether is Skynet bastardized and turned into a propaganda tool by Jeff.

Call these people and ask (800) 255.5801. If Jeff hasn't fired them all, there should be someone there to answer your questions.

File a PDR. They have been very good about looking into pay issues for me. There is a drop down menu for payroll issues
