Just wanted add my $.02...
For those of you who have never flown the Airbus. STAY AWAY the airplane is a death trap. Heed my warning DO NOT BID the left seat of the Bus!
Some true facts about the Airbus..
Fly by wire, die by fire....
The difference between an A-320 and a chainsaw? About 300 trees a minute.
An Airbus once got stuck in a holding pattern. They were never able to get it to exit. It's still there just circling around with a bunch of skeletons ridding along for eternity.
The flight control system takes a PHD in french and physics to understand.
Flying the Airbus does not make you gay. But it does make you look gay.
The airplane calls you a retard on landing.
You never really fly an Airbus you just give it suggestions and then it overrides you...
DO NOT bid the Bus, consider yourself warned.

I laughed 'til I cried . . . thanks Hoss!
Let's hope the x-CAL types don't figure out what you're really talkin' 'bout 'cuz right now I'm pretty excited the way the chips are fallin' in EWR. Tentatively 30 slots going junior to me in the first round and 60+ bids to go

If you are LCAL and have never flown the Bus you'll really love it. The training in DEN is amazing. I am well aware that the seniority is an issue on the plane right now, but that is going to even itself out as people bid around.

Seriously tho... I flew all 3 seats on the 727 and flew the 767 so I'm very familiar with Boeing and I don't think I can go back now that I've flown the Airbus. Its a great plane.
