If you hadn't tried to increase your seniority position by pegging the Guppy pay to the 757, all of these bids you're witnessing may have been different. Thank you very much.

This was one of those "We are going to try this scheme. If it works, great. If not, STFB".

"I" did nothing to try to influence SLI. I go to work...then...I go home. I bet you do something similar. In fact, I did not mention SLI, pay or bids. Again, he was talking about how horrible the 73......nevermind.

I think the guppy is a great little airplane.

Serious question. Did the Bus folks try to copy that, just got lucky, or did they always make 75 pay? Because the only difference in 73 and 320 pay is as somebody pointed out slight differences in the blended rate.

If the JointNC hadn't done so, then we all collectively would have lost out on $$ as the uber 737's were earmarked to be the successor airframe. The outcry would have been tremendous if they had allowed a replacement acft pay less as 757's went away.

Not going to disagree that many would scream. I personally believe pay banding is concessionary and decision 83 should stand. Hard to justify a plane weighing 60k more pays the same. The 57 should pay more even by a difference of $5

1. Show up on time.
2. Have a good time flying...be a professional.
3. Go home to the important things in life like friends and family.
See, isn't that easy?

I understand the angst, but the flip side of the coin is that we now have a 747 replacement in the A350-1000 that will pay the same, but weighs at least 119k less. Decision 83 would cut both ways.
