Default Indoc to training

For those that have started training in the last few months, just wondering how long the delay is for the different airframes from end of indoc to start sim training. Specifically for the 756, 737 and 320. I was told that it begins the Monday after indoc but I'm guessing it'll be longer than that. Thanks.

I was a "Re-doc" last July. For me, two days after re-doc.

There were new-hires that were going to wait at least until Nov (!!!) for 76T.

They ended up getting something in Sept, 7 weeks after indoc.

737 and Bus guys were around four weeks.

The bottom line is, it is a roll of the dice. It depends on how back-logged the training pipeline is. On one hand, a lot of the 737 logjam is relieved now that they have more instructors, and I believe a contract facility as well. On the other hand, they are still taking 737s on, there has been lots of seat movement due to bids and displacements, so it could conceivably be just as crazy.

I'd guess 4 weeks for most, and onesy-twosey at the extremes of a couple of days, to multiple months.

Are we collecting pay while waiting for the backlog to catch up?

Indoc is 9 days, IIRC.

And I think you get min Reserve guarantee while waiting.
