From all the bumpity, bumpity talk you are jealous of their Capt. Positions. You people can't wait to displace them.

Apparently Leneski, doesn't and he is not in IAH, I am on the fence and see valid points, and I am not in IAH.

Short answer is the company benefits from the "Houston carve-out". If passed, it would effectively allow the company to use surpluses as a longer TDY type action without the cost. The Houston CP office negotiated this deal with Ben and sold it as a way to protect Houston pilots. Unfortunately, it would be applied system wide and affect all United pilots. Make no mistake the company wants this and it's bad for all United pilots(including those that still consider themselves CAL pilots)
Stop the CAL vs UAL stuff, defend the contract and stop the rogue actions and schemes coming from some self-serving ALPA leaders.

For reference, does anyone have a copy of the resolution that must have been passed by the CAL MEC when the EWR domicile was "right sized" with displacements to IAH before the merger? This must have come up then, right?
Also, did this resolution actually get passed at an LEC meeting?

I give this resolution a high change of being disposed of at the MEC by being shown as "Discussed" and will waste time and money doing so. Nice job IAH. In unity mofo's
