According to the IAH base update on the iPad, new furniture is coming to the IAH CPO this week. Comfy new chairs for Ben and friends to kick back and plot their next special deal.

From all the bumpity, bumpity talk you are jealous of their Capt. Positions. You people can't wait to displace them.

Apparently Leneski, doesn't and he is not in IAH, I am on the fence and see valid points, and I am not in IAH.

Not jealousy at all. The MEC along with a majority of the United pilots(including many former CAL type) stopping the former CAL "let's make a deal" mentality from the company. Why do you think the company hasn't sent out formal surplus letters?

Short answer is the company benefits from the "Houston carve-out". If passed, it would effectively allow the company to use surpluses as a longer TDY type action without the cost. The Houston CP office negotiated this deal with Ben and sold it as a way to protect Houston pilots. Unfortunately, it would be applied system wide and affect all United pilots. Make no mistake the company wants this and it's bad for all United pilots(including those that still consider themselves CAL pilots)

Stop the CAL vs UAL stuff, defend the contract and stop the rogue actions and schemes coming from some self-serving ALPA leaders.

Don't delude yourself. Leneski's IAH roots go far and deep along with his mentality.

Where were the votes and alarm when smaller bases were closing and pilots were being displaced? (That's rhetorical, I know this stuff doesn't matter unless it's affecting you, isn't that right council 171).

I give this resolution a high change of being disposed of at the MEC by being shown as "Discussed" and will waste time and money doing so. Nice job IAH. In unity mofo's

Sleeves. I've been a Capt here before, and held it on bids this year. Nobody's going to "displace them". If there are IAH 737 bumps, they'll have to decide whether they want to stay Capt and commute...or downbid. Same as the DEN 76T and DEN A320 bumps last summer. Nobody is taking their place.
