The sad thing is someone from the sUA negotiating side had to give their thumbs up for loa25. Hopefully the injustice will be fixed monetarily. The bad taste it left in the mouths of many may never be repaired.

That's also how we got these pay bands. Now that the SLI is done I agree, lets fix LOA 25. Paybands I don't really care.

SLI manipulation. That's the reason for both. Neither worked, so now we are stuck un-@&$);:@ the mess. Well played by all involved. At least get the framework correct. It hurt all of us and benefitted no one.

The CAL side argued a pure status integration until they ran out of bodies.

I agree we need to fix LOA 25, but I also do care about the paybands. I find it crazy that somehow the same type rating pays so much difference.

319 to 320 A difference of 22 seats.
787-8 to 767-300 A difference of 2 seats but different bands.

Both were a game played by one side during the SLI to try to gain advantage that didn't work. Now IMO both need to be rectified.

Everyone else gets to learn from your bad day that was shown on CNN despite the fact that nobody was injured.

Then imagine that a fellow pilot would come on this forum and use a picture of that event as his Avatar as a put down. All the while spreading his "I'm a victim" mentality at every turn.

How would you feel about him?

I chose that picture to represent the breakdown of United Airlines during the bankruptcy era which cost me and thousands of others our jobs. I never thought someone would take it as a personal attack, and certainly don't mean it that way.

This is exactly the reason I resist posting on this forum. You try to make what you feel is a valid point and then you have to waste your time defending yourself against someone's misrepresentation of your avatar picture...

Next I'll claim my dad was an RV salesman and I am offended by your avatar, such that it is demeaning to his profession. Are we far enough off track yet?

As far as this snarky little comment is concerned, I believe it is a good thing to stand up for yourself. Always have and always will. Your "victim mentality" term seems to imply that fighting back is wrong somehow, that one should just take it lying down. My character doesn't allow me to be bullied in silence, and I doubt that yours does either.
