Hogan retake?

Anyone received the Hogan retake after getting a TBNT the first time around? Just curious about the time frame. I thought it was 12 months after but I think I'm at 14 months now.

After twelve months your application is back in the system. It has to get selected again. That's my understanding at least.

Yes.

IIRC, Just over a year from TBNT to an invite to (re)take it...

This is the key statement.

Just because the Hogan was offered once does not mean that it automatically occurs again after 12 months.

Talking to a recruiter, she remarked about the Hogan.

She said they gave the test to a group of "the ideal" United pilots. Guys/gals who have proven themselves. They then took those results and are using them to find similar candidates.

That might help explain why some very qualified pilots are being kicked out of the system by the Hogan.

I got the distinct impression they are looking for the "personality" that best fits United.

Maybe they should just have personality tests at all the airlines and forget the interviews, that way they can get the "psych test version" of the perfect candidates. Or better yet, give the psych test, with no ATP requirement or even flight time required, and then just train future employees "in house" 100% like JB is talking about. The perfect combination of the two programs.
