Pilots and what they know about the airline business. That's a one page book. Proven over and over and over.
If your a pilot, just shut your trap, fly your contract, support your brothers, take care of the customer and do your job professionally because guess what...you probably got the best one at the whole bloody airline.
If your management worry about the airline business. If your a pilot just live your life and enjoy what a great job this can be beacuse if it all comes crashing down you'll get your chance to worry about a lot of things...

I sort of doubt it. Was there for over a decade and I never saw a single one or even heard that phrase uttered from crews I flew with. It's either urban myth or if it existed, it was put on for a brief period a long time ago by a couple of the sort of 2%ers who exist at every airline and are probably not capable of hiding their ingrained idiocy in an interview. I'm sure they were put in their place pretty quickly by others.
The significant majority of RAH'ers don't want scope erosion at the majors, are doing what they can to move on, are solid professionals and enjoy a beer or two with crews from any airline - again with the standard 2% cutout for fools found at any airline.

Oh they existed but those of us that actually worked at Republic somehow never saw them........

UAL/UAX was simply an agreement that the UAX carriers would hire furloughed UAL pilots into the jet equipment, with UALPA picking up the difference between year 1 and year 2 pay for the pilot's first year on property.
And IIRC, there wasnt any "push back" or whatever else. That probably holds as much urban legend street cred as the infamous "guppy killer" sticker EVERYONE has claimed to have seen

Not only have I seen the infamous guppy killer sticker. I once had an F/O inform one of the little twits who's bag was so adorned that he had two choices. Remove the sticker or remove himself from the jumpseat. The little coward scraped the sticker right there on the spot. It's kind of shocking to me that anybody would claim they didn't exist.

As for J4J at RAH with US Airways pilots, I think they were pretty universally well received and appreciated - they brought a he!! of a lot of experience and knowledge to the cockpit and were a cool group overall.
