Did United make a FB post that they had just fired the brothel guy? "Hey everyone! Your attention please! One of our pilots was running a brothel and we fired him. I repeat, a pilot employed by us was running a brothel. Thank you." Makes no sense. Why did they choose to amplify this?

This is whats expected, and why our traveling public has an issue. Keep your idiotic politics at home. Come to work, do your job, and don't think the guy sitting next to you wants to hear hours of your political pyscho-babble.

Don't know about you, but I don't want my airline pilots to get worked up over anything. I expect the full-on Chuck Yeager treatment from the cockpit — unruffled, unexcitable, half-amused by whatever is out there, good or bad.
The kind of brutally callous rhetoric increasingly common among politicians isn't what you want from the guy who might have your fate in his hands slashing through the skies at more than 500 mph, more than 6 miles above the ground.
You want someone utterly unfazed by anything, someone with a been-there, done-that, nothing-to-worry-about perspective.

I guess he just couldn't help himself and jumped on the Faux News bandwagon probably after a couple drinks. Now he's going to pay for it.
I've seen Companies fire employees for identifying themselves as such and then posting embarrassing pictures on social media. Just don't do it.
