Default Application Help

Hello All,
When I try to apply for the First Officer Position on the UPS website, I receive this notice:

Previous Employee

Thank you for your interest in opportunities with UPS, however our records indicate that as a former employee of UPS you are not currently eligible for rehire.

I was a seasonal helper back in '14, and it won't let me apply.

Any thoughts?

With all this talk of hiring, was hoping to get my app in asap!!

Thanks!!

Did you get fired or leave on bad terms? Any conflict with management? Maybe a manager tubed your employee file?

You must have done something to PO someone in management during your time there.

Sorry, but you would be best served to look elsewhere for employment.

If you haven't searched this forum yet, do yourself a favor and read about all the issues and "quirkiness" of the app system at UPS.

No one completely understands the process ...

It could just mistakenly be recognizing you as an employee, and expect you to apply internally

Either way, good luck

Thanks! Just may stop by the CPs office in PHL when I have a long sit and drop off a resume and find out if there is anything I can do.

There are no ACPs in PHL.

Used to have ACPs in PHL, but they moved their AOR to the MIA ACPs office.

Besides, initial screening is done by computer. Don't think dropping a resume off in the blind would do you any good at such an early stage of the process.

Maybe spell out UPS and make a typo or omit a space between the words and see if the app system misses it?

He can't apply to even have a chance.

There's always a duty ACP in SDF at night. Jumpseat in and out one night and see if you can talk to him.

If not, better try to make it to a job fair if you want UPS.
