Jan 2023 new hire class

You read that right.. talked to a friend last night who was offered a Jan 9 heavy class.

Its an easy way of locking down quality candidates who have a long time until their availability date. Pretty smart move, our HR must have done it by mistake. Congrats to this guy and everyone else getting the CJO. It really is a great job

Whether that person actually shows up almost a year from now remains to be seen. But agree, UPS might generate some goodwill with that person by being the first to offer them a spot.

So are all classes full to January? I remember several folks in here with June availability, haven't made a peep about getting interviewed or a CJO. Myself included. If anyone isn't being further considered, a TBNT would be nice. On the flipside, lots of people were reporting most interview and offer activity happening about a month before class.

No rhyme or reason, it seems.

That makes sense. Good to be proactive and get your hands on this candidates sooner rather than later. The stated quals of some of the applicants on here sure humble me to even be in the running. I also get a bit concerned when I hear of June offers going out.

The friend with the Jan class is separating from the military and may have to slip even later. It's the only one that I've heard of that far out. I know there is a healthy supply of very qualified candidates and I would count him among the top so I imagine the company wants to him to accept the UPS offer so they made it already.
