Can you expand on changing the second address?

Thank you
You can only buy tickets if you have a scheduled CML deadhead. From there, you can deviate to 1 of 2 addresses (FROM work). You call the travel department to list your secondary residence address - it is required to be a residence vs random place you choose (grey area). It’s not meant to be constantly changed to suit your personal travelling needs. If you dont use the ticket you get 62.x % of the index fare deposited into your travel bank. If you ride a UPS flight in lieu of a CML ticket - no travel bank credit.

Are you able to use your travel bank for other methods of transportation such as rental cars, driving services, etc?

No. commercial airlines only and the ticket bank expires after a few pay periods.

Rental cars and car service can be used in lieu of a commercial deadhead.

You can also use your own car and claim mileage up to a maximum. 300 miles I think. Caveat on all this is that there is a minimum of 50 trees or they won't pay. They got us on that one.

I believe the 50-300 miles is an IRS thing.

In which case it gets added to your w2 as imputed income like a few other things. This was what we were told we were getting and its the same as another carrier we are familiar with has. After negotiations UPS suddenly had a bit of amnesia.

Question regarding how to collect the miles from these DH’s. Do you purchase the tickets yourself and then submit for reimbursement? I thought ticketing required working through Altour…is this not the case?
