Ups jumpseat advice

Sorry to necropost. What’s it like trying to connect in SDF as a jumpseater? Is it straight forward for someone who hasn’t done it before.
There’s a nonstop on the way to where I’m headed, but looks like all roads home go through SDF. Just wondering what to expect. Thanks in advance!

You can ask at the JS desk for a pass that will
let you in the cafeteria and lounge recliner room - have your inbound crew show you where these are if interested or ask directions at JS desk. Domestic crews typically head out to the plane 45 prior so you’ll want to be at the JS table shortly before. If you’re 40 prior and still waiting, pop your head into the small office by the entrance (the one with the window next to the mask and hand sanitizer table) and ask the guy in there - he will tell you which van to take and so on. You can ask the same at the JS desk too, but not every crew checks to see if there’s riders so don’t always expect to get called for at the tables.
