Default Ups jumpseat advice

I need some help/guidance. Land at pax terminal about 630. Ups has a direct flight to SDF at 728pm. Google maps shows 9 minute cab ride over. Too tight for me to even try? Im assuming it is. Thank you in advance

I dunno, I'd take you. We all understand tight connections. A call to the gateway upon landing would help lubricate the process, i.e. they could have your pass printed out ect.

I’d say as long as you’re at the gateway 30 minutes prior you’d be good to go.

Which gateway? If it’s a small one call them beforehand and I think they’d appreciate it.

VERY important to let them know that you are coming in a situation like this because often we'll leave early if loaded. If we are sure someone is coming, we'll wait.

If it’s an IPA pilot, they’ll take you. Management pilot? Don’t count on it. I had a 74 NURP who wouldn’t wait literally 5 minutes for me once. He left 20 minutes early instead of 15 minutes early. ANC-SDF trying to get home. There’s a reason they have a bad reputation
