As flyguy said, looking at any specific numbers is absolutely pointless. It’s a number they basically make up and then almost never reach anyways. Typically they’ll hire about 2/3 of what they’d “announced”.
It’s possible (speculation, not a fact) the application window will stay closed for a while. We might be going back to the short application windows we used to have way back when. Our IT department is so incredibly behind it wouldn’t surprise me if they’d begged for it so they may catch up.

Closing FO Applications
I’ve got my app in already with an “Active” thumbs up. My question is about attaching recs to it. Once the window is closed, can UPS folks still attach recs to my application? Obviously I can’t mess with it, but I’m hoping that doesn’t stop the internal recs from being added in-house.

Just as a data point, I just reapplied when I saw the application window was closing. I had kept my app updated until 2019 when I went ACMI. I like ACMI but looking at retirement figures, I'd be dumb not to try again for UPS. Right now my profile lists 3 applications. One from 2016, shows inactive. Another I started in 2017 and kept updating until 2019 show active. And finally the one that I just filled out again for 2021, and also shows active. I suppose its normal to have the previous ones still showing? Good luck to us all!

Help with UPS app ...question doesn't show up
I've gotten to the part with the two columns for two manned aircraft. I can't remember what the columns are from my past apps, but nothing on my app shows what the columns are supposed to be...is it PIC and SIC or Instructor vs PIC or.... I enabled cookies tried on Edge and Chrome and the both show up like this....
