Atlas is by far the most common ACMI hired by UPS. However, that’s because Atlas is far larger than the other ACMIs. ATI pops up on our newhire list occasionally. There are simply fewer guys from ATI applying. Also, the domestic 76 stuff is less attractive to HR than guys flying long haul international.

Default What is this "Flight Qualified Leader" thing?

I'm sure these roles are despised around here - a non-union "nanny" type role the company has floating around?

Are the sim instructors non-union? Can you be a line pilot and move to sims and back without leaving the IPA?

Sim instructors are IPA. Testing etc is done by management (non union)

How junior is the MIA base - can new hires get it? MIA is only 75/76 airframes, right?

MIA is senior and only 75/76

As a new hire unlikely but within the first system bid no problem.
