A lot of guys who come to Brown from Kalitta, Atlas, and other ACMIs often comment that, while we do better financially and have more days off, we do a lot more flying on our work days. I’ve never seen a truly objective breakdown of the respective flying, but that is definitely a perception out there.

Totally unnecessary comment..
So someone shares he/she just got shut down and the discussion devolves into how much money one can make here versus elsewhere.. Classy.
To the OP - don’t give up, try again when the time comes. Brown is alright BUT there are MANY great jobs out there..

Just FYI, I applied to UPS and a Legacy at the same time. The Legacy called first. So I was in training when I did the UPS interview. I had updated my job history on the website, but my interviewers didn't know I was at the Legacy now. I think maybe that's what sank me. I can't complain I guess. I'll be home more with the Legacy eventually (I live in base), but man, that retirement would have been sweet.

I have to remind myself that it isn't a judgment of my flying abilities or career. It's just business.

A certain blue and red legacy told me I wasn't good enough at multitasking and dot counting so I can try again in 3 months (or maybe I failed the weird Hogan-like test). They were my #1 airline. Getting told TBNT is not a good feeling. But life finds a way and when some doors close, others will open.

Dude, you didn’t tell us you already had a legacy job when you got the TBNT. That’s a very different place to be in than “out of airspeed and ideas”, which is how I read your initial post. You aren’t under pressure…enjoy the legacy and just keep trying at UPS if you really want that.
I agree it's not a terrible situation to be in. Still sucks to be told no though.
