A 767-400 freighter would really be an ideal MD replacement, with a practically identical footprint and just 10% less cube with greater efficiency/fleet commonality...but Boeing isn't returning my calls right now.
Is the 767-400 in production anymore or has anyone certified a freighter conversion? Granted, feedstock is probably in short supply right now.

No to both questions - pretty sure DAL & UAL are a fan of theirs.

The oft-rumored ICAO emissions-compliant 767X freighter would basically be a 764 with GEnx engines...but its vaporware. Something something MAX something...

SDF 747 has the most senior junior CPT, followed by ANC 747.
In my case, I would be more senior % on the 747 SDF than on Z.

On the Capt list? When were you hired? I'd have 40 below me on Z but couldn't even hold SDF 74 Capt. There may be some cases where certain year groups slot into the 74 domiciles with more seniority, but in general, both ANC and especially SDF 74 go very senior on the Capt side.

I was surprised to see on the latest "unofficial" mock bid that 2 guys from 1/2017 were holding ANC 747 CA. That amount of years to 747 CA was unheard of when I was hired.

A long time ago. Like i said in original thread. Depends on when one was hired. I am less senior on Z than I would be on the 747 sdf- % wise. So in my case, the 747 is less senior.

No one wants to commute to ANC, plus ANC has multiple reports in a month. Quite of few CA from the 74 went back to Z

If UPS does not fix the broken up schedules in ANC, they are going to find it hard to keep pilots.
however if one is willing to move, I think it provides the best QOL.

Yes I am new. And no, I’m not expecting change anytime soon. I did move to SDF and switching fleets to help me improve QOL.
