It isn't. Depends on when one got hired.

And once you’re done with the last one, your body doesn’t know which way is up. It’s horrible. Maybe the 74 guys have the same $hit?

We certainly have some of the same poop, and it does suck. That said, we usually either go home or do a double-crewed leg with ~48 off after two or three 24s.

No one on the seniority has any sway whatsoever in what airplane, if any, gets purchased. It'll come down to UPS getting the best deal possible & maybe fitting airplanes into the worldport wings will be considered. Whatever we get, it won't have running water, lav will probably be within arms reach of the FO seat, & the seat cushions will be just a touch softer than concrete.

Totally fatiguing... We had multiple 14-16hr layerovers which was bad enough back to back, etc. and then a 24/7 at Giant on the whale. That 24 is hurtful and no way to recover and now we have a 32/7, much better way to recalibrate. Felt your pain on a normal basis at one time, but ya'll are hard chargers earning that coin at least.

Isn't "when one got hired" what determines seniority?

SDF 747 has the most senior junior CPT, followed by ANC 747.

The whole world port wings thing is a myth. You can move any plane we get to Ramp 6,9, 11 or somewhere across 35L.

Not really a myth..but also not really insurmountable.

Ramps 6, 11 and 23 work for airframes larger than a MD11, along with some (but not all) parking spots on Ramp 9. Wingspan is a limitation parking on the wings, but so is fuselage length and main deck door placement (fore or aft wing).

A 767-400 freighter would really be an ideal MD replacement, with a practically identical footprint and just 10% less cube with greater efficiency/fleet commonality...but Boeing isn't returning my calls right now.
