The Z guys in Asia get 5-6 in a row. They’re disguised as 21, 28 and 31 hour layovers, but they’re all 24 hour layovers either way you look at it. You can’t sleep twice. And once you’re done with the last one, your body doesn’t know which way is up. It’s horrible. Maybe the 74 guys have the same $hit?

No one on the seniority has any sway whatsoever in what airplane, if any, gets purchased. It'll come down to UPS getting the best deal possible & maybe fitting airplanes into the worldport wings will be considered. Whatever we get, it won't have running water, lav will probably be within arms reach of the FO seat, & the seat cushions will be just a touch softer than concrete.

Ramps 6, 11 and 23 work for airframes larger than a MD11, along with some (but not all) parking spots on Ramp 9. Wingspan is a limitation parking on the wings, but so is fuselage length and main deck door placement (fore or aft wing).
A 767-400 freighter would really be an ideal MD replacement, with a practically identical footprint and just 10% less cube with greater efficiency/fleet commonality...but Boeing isn't returning my calls right now.
