Received the call today.. While swimming in the pool a purple life guard pulled me out of the water. Best of luck to those still waiting.

Hopefully they don't cancel the class 2 days before it starts in June. If there wasnt an industry leading precedent, I wouldn't bring it up. Good luck to all

 

Would be awesome to see them unable to fill these spots, but I know they will. Rocket Bob has a salient point that should be taken very seriously by those accepting class dates. While not the respectable thing to do, I would do whatever you can to hang on to your current job prior to coming here. Personal leave of absence, MIL, whatever you can do to hang on to that previous (and precious) seniorty number at Brand X.

This place has already demonstrated they have zero scruples, and will not hesitate to cancel your class in the case of a strike, try to coecre you into management during a strike, or just plain postpone your class like they did previously. And any of this could happen simply because someone on ATL didn't add two pennies together, and you will be unemployed for who knows how long while they ascertain who stole the $.02.

Personally I'd love to see a room full of empty chairs, but the $ and benefits here will overshadow all the other garbage for some.

Keep any ace in the hole (if you can) and don't even hesitate if Purple, UA, AA, or DL call. Run, don't walk.....
