Failed the Hogan
#21
After you take the Hogan, a screen quickly flashes that will say either PASS or FAIL...and I mean quick, it is up for maybe a half second.
Then you'll go to a screen that says (paraphrasing) either 'We look forward to speaking with you' or 'We are pursuing other candidates, thanks for your interest in UPS'.

I sure wish I would have taken a screen shot. I am optimistic though as it did not mention "we are pursuing other candidates", try again, tbnt, or anything to that effect. It did say thank you for your continued interest. I guess I'll continue to sit tight and jump at every ring of the phone. Thanks for the reply!

Prior to '07 there was no Hogan test and I wouldn't be surprised if many of us would fail it if we had to do it today. We know the test has absolutely nothing to do honesty and integrity, after all we are still hiring managers.
So put this behind you, focus on other things in your life and in 6 months, if you're still interested, start trying again. I'd attend a couple of job fairs and talk to recruiters in person. Hang in there, it'll all work out in the end.
Wish you the best!

Very sorry to hear that BYOB but don't beat yourself up over this. The test IS a joke and it's absolutely illogical. I believe that Ms. Hogan was a psycho who loved to be in control of people, that's probably how this test came about. The psych eval person who was in charge of Delta's hiring ended up killing himself, what does that tell you?

I'm not sure it's automatic, I think that just like before, your app has to be pulled. Do you have contact info for the person that called you and told you that you would receive the Hogan? Or maybe you could go to a job fair and talk to a recruiter.
