Yeah that is why I was asking you about the 3rd listers. The east list has 2011 third listers senior to 2004 awa hires, it's the only way the east weighing works. They must buy 100% into the east proposal for that to be the case, can't get around the fact that there are almost as many 3rd listers at us airways as there are west fo's. It's possible the Nic is dead but giving our 2005 merger zero weight is very unlikely.

Vendetta appears to be actively communicating with someone involved
and is providing greater detail than I can. I have not tried to confirm his exact details. At this point we are two weeks or so away from all knowing so I have not pushed for verification. And because the person I originally got the information from is concerned about leaking any more information at this point.

I got my information early on (first hand source) and it was more general. At the time that in and of itself was a lot of information. As time has transpired more details have appeared to have surface. That's why I asked Vendetra for clarifications. His details matched my general understanding but I can't confirm his exact statements. I have not pressed for greater detail as it appears things have heated up within the SLI discussion (rebuttal). I can only assume threats of lawsuits.

It turns out the information being thrown around by this web board person is incorrect. Eric has not walked out of any meetings. Nor has he or anybody else seen the exact list. It is being put out in such a way, that no parties actually see the exact manual, but they see enough to be able to make their appropriate inputs. This list is not being leaked early. Everybody needs to relax....for now

Well I went and got my information first hand source as well seeing as how some much misinformation was being hurled around here.

However I do agree, best to relax and ride out another two weeks to get the exact details. Without the list it's all hearsay for now.

The appropriate individuals (committee members) are quite aware of what the list looks like. Outside of them, I agree, not many if any others have.

I went to the source and what I posted was a cut and paste of the response. I gathered from that there was just enough info for this unprecedented rebuttal phase to function. It still might not end up as some think. This is just my thoughts on this and nothing more but why have this never before rebuttal phase in the first place if the panel did not expect some rather significant changes? I don't know for certain but why have it if you have no plans to really fool with the thing? Sure they could have gone heavy with LOS and during this rebuttal phase it gets pointed out how it could equal super seniority if used? Not saying it is but maybe. I do know this person posting on here stating he has all the inside track but he is not being honest or he has being given some erroneous information. EF has stated he never walked out of anything unless it was to go to the bathroom.

It would be a first and probably a good idea to have the arbs let each side push their proposal one last time. If Nicolau had done that the war might have been averted.

I agree with you. I just know each committee was able to see (or produce) what the arbs are proposing so they have an idea of what it looks like. As I previously wrote, this is a very unorthodox integration.

The problem with the initial integration is that the east clearly wanted to rebuild their careers on the backs of the west pilot group. The never once budged from their DOH position even after having been told it would not fly. They firmly believe that their most junior reserve first officer who was days away from furlough should have been placed next to our senior captains. They have always felt this was fair. They further felt that all of their furloughed pilots belonged in front of west pilots that were actually flying for the airline.
George had given them every opportunity to be fair and yet they refused every opportunity. The award comes out and they set about the business of holding everything and everyone hostage. It was their rules or no one could play. They dictated at every turn and that nonsense of wye river was the same thing, their way or no way at all. The panel may have taken pity on this time no one knows for sure. They retire at a much greater rate than the other two groups but make no mistake there will be no east massive capture of attrition. I don't see a way where they totally dismiss the last 9 years of activity and give the east a pass on that however stranger things have indeed happened.
