It's not polite, but since you ask: the DC-9s first flight was today in 1965

NEWK = DC9... DC9 = AWESOMENESS... AWESOMENESS = NEWK.

Reverend Newk, your Fly DC Jets choir is here, so play on player!

So let's celebrate, here is a video from 1966 celebrating the new DC-9!

And to keep the party going, stop by the training center, take a look at the future of the greatest DC-9 derivative, the MD-88!

Not a photo shop.

Sad to know that this is probably the DC-9s last birthday. Plenty of RJ goodness to help spread around the stagnation, too.

Yippie.

I don't think any of that will translate over to Boeing opening up 767 400 production again.
Actually it will be a 787 cockpit acording to a Boeing rep I know.

At this rate it will just be an upgraded 707 cockpit in the 707's frame.

Or Dash 80's frame. Still.

Boeing's proposed KC-767 NewGen Tanker for the US Air Force incorporates the wing and fuselage from the 767-200, the cargo door and floor from the 767-300F and the cockpit from the 767-400ER.
The offering, which is currently being evaluated by the USAF along with the EADS North America KC-45 for an initial 179-aircraft requirement, will also feature a new boom. NewGen Tanker programme manager Jean Chamberlin says the new boom will have "a wider envelope than the KC-10 and is fully digitalised". She declines to provide more details for proprietary reasons but says it will "absolutely" be developed in time for initial operating capability in 2017.
The new boom is the biggest difference between the NewGen Tanker and the four delayed KC-767 tankers that Boeing is now preparing to deliver to Italy. "Boeing and the Italian air force will seek to deliver the first two KC-767s by the end of this year," the company says.

Believe that is old. It will have a 787 based cockpit.

Default Google Calendar

Guys,

I have the HTC Droid incredible and use Icrew max to load my schedule which works great but I having trouble with my calendar.

When I go to my schedule there is a blue download button on the bottom. Using this button I am trying to download my schedule and import it into google calendar. Every time I try to download the schedule it does not offer me the choice of where to save it to and just gives me the 4 digit i crew max code - any ideas?

Thanks Scoop

You need to change your options, your download is set for "Transfer to iCrew Mobile App" to your phone. Log on to iCrew first, then right click on the iCrewMax icon in the lower corner of Firefox, Options, Rotation, then select your download of choice.

I go back and forth between the two formats each month to download to my calendar and download to my phone.
