Shifting back to hiring ...

The interview today was a very positive experience. The previous trip reports I've read were by-n-large spot on for what I saw today.

Folks were given an interview time and asked to report 90 minutes prior. I showed up 10 minutes before my show time and I was the last show for my time slot.

This is a WAG, but I would say there were about 30-35 interviewees today. Another WAG - 80%ish seemed to be coming from the regionals, with a smattering of military and corporate.

We were told to expect a two week wait for the nod that we'd be moving to Phase II, and Phase II could last 6-12 weeks. I got the impression they want folks to start training within 2-3 months of the interview.

I met a great group of guys and gals in Queens today. I hope to see them all down the road ...

Cheers!

Bash away.
If you are going to say we are not using the facts then please site specifics to corroborate your claim.

Hyper boy this is for you (he was there)

I only have what I was told from guys there.

Just relax tx what are you so upset about? We are two weeks away from voting in your version of god. We need it but we will also need to come together after the vote so start getting used to people having a different opinion.

God? Hardly. I don't trust this group anyway. You made an accusation that someone lied. I would provide specific details if I was going to post such a thing.

FWIW my contact said conditional offers were being made for class dates before all the background paperwork was in. This seems to be the Achilles's heel - the lag in paperwork.

Let's talk class. What is the training footprint like? Day 1 of Indoc to type ride is how long? Indoc is how long? Ground school? How many sims?

Thanks fellas.
