Best gouge?

Emerald Coast Interview Consulting

It's not cheap, but it is money back guaranteed and excellent. I did the course last week in Orlando. They can do it over the phone with you.

And this comes from someone who hasn't had a jB interview. :P

You can't reapply with DAL if you don't pass the psych eval. If you screw up the cognitive test or the panel interview, you can reapply. I think it's six months... might be a year.

So let's take the 4/9 class, 12 Bus and 23 emb.

Do more people prefer the emb over the bus in new hire class? Do the new hires bid based on seniority? How much seniority would a 30 year old have versus a 43 year old new hire?

Default jetBlue Hiring

People almost always want the airbus , a few will take the 190 depending on what base they are trying to get, (Mco) a guy who would take the 190 cause of a quicker like ends up taking the bus just cause it's a Fll base which is home for him. So every class has different desires , but it's a fair answer to say that a 30 year old is def gonna get the 190 , I have had about 6 friends go through in the last 6 months all within that age and even older , they were no where close to holding a bus slot , when you have 35 People in 1 class , the old dogs of the group are usually getting the bus .

Again all can change overnight, my personal class was only 7 big and we were all forced the 320 didn't have a choice for a 190, so anything could happen. But in the last 12 months since I been here , every class had been split bus / 190.

Good luck

Of course things are different in every class, but for the most part, are most new hires 30-somethings? I'm 41 and want the bus (A320-BOS to be exact). It seems that most folks that interviewed with me were 30-somethings and would view me as an "old-dog".

No, the interviewers have a packet with questions. It seems there's some latitude in what questions were asked; however, my interviewers were sequential. Even when I wanted to toss the ball because I fumbled a bit trying to find an example they kept probing..."why don't you take a minute to think of an example [insert Final Jeopardy music here]"

Mine was a solid hour. I'm also a loud and fast talker so I had to try and pull that back as everyone is in the same room. My interviewers spent most of the time looking down writing on the sheets. The only time they really looked up was to ask the question.

I hope that 41 is not an old dog if so you are not alone. I have opted to stay in the 190 FO BOS. The 190 makes you forget your "juniority" at times. I love the QOL in the 190. Weekends off, holidays off, commute is nice. I would love to go to the airbus and try new cities and overnights but the QOL is just key for me right now. I am 70ish out of 220+ in BOS FWIW.
