You risk diminishing your stature on this board with this. I personally have always valued your knowledge, thoughts, and positions. Your presentation of the facts, as well as your opinions have always been a worthwhile read.

The company hasn't expressed anymore interest in the -80 series. Gas and MX are becoming too much in today's environment. AB is the future, the fleet plan is for them to be totally gone by 2022.

Seriously guys!?!? Rat's not a Troll! Nor is he a wana-be. He's a valuable contributor to APC with lots of experience to share. Any open minded person should welcome alternative viewpoints.
Furthermore - you guys don't OWN the APC Allegiant thread. It's an open forum for a reason. Create your own internal message board if you don't like outsiders chiming in on your issues.
Maybe if you guys were open to at least entertaining some of the warnings made, you'd be better prepared to avert many pitfalls that loom.
We're all acutely interested in the your guys' outcome, as it impacts all of us.

Thank you. They don't seem to understand that I'm really on their side. I just happen to think they're a little too optimistic about possible outcomes.

While many people are watching the fight and outcome at G4, in the end this is OUR fight. Sure the outcome will affect other carriers, but we have to fight for us first. I'm sure Frontier and Netjets pilots wouldn't want one AAY person repeatedly going into their threads and telling them that they are going to fail, but "we're on your side...and we hope you get what you deserve".
If you really knew so much about G4, aside from just vomiting partial facts and circumstances that have already been posted on here, you would know that the pilots have no expectation with this management. We are either going to get a contract of a certain level, or light the match. There is no reason to stay here otherwise. It's not like other places that have struck when they didn't get a choice between steak and chicken on a crew meal. We have options, and we aren't going to put up with being treated this way.
So just to be clear, the AAY pilots have no particular expectations. You can now sleep soundly at night knowing that you don't have to worry about us anymore. We will stand and fight, and the chips will fall where they may.

I no longer have a dog in this fight, Pack, but going off of what you have posted, it does not look like you are on the side of the allegiant pilots. Those guys are fighting the fight of their lives and all you have to offer are a litany of condescending remarks insinuating those guys don't have what it takes. I agree with sulk that this is an open forum, people have the right to express their opinions. If you feel the need to continually talk down to the allegiant guys, be ready to accept the responses you will get in return.

I'll play for awhile. You're right, it's a free country and a free forum with an ignore feature.
As far as what our first contract looks like, who knows. Now it's interesting that you're using the term 1st. contract. Because our management has told investors that a first contract takes about 4 years. Our union has been fighting multiple legal battles saying this isn't our first contract. One federal judge has upheld that belief, and we'll see what the 9th circuit thinks soon.
Right now or CEO is worth $700,000,000. Granted that's on paper, but he has a lot to lose. So I'm not sure how long the company can holdout. Corporate has everyone spouting we're a travel company, not an airline. They should probably take the time to listen to the investors calls.
I personally believe in doing things the Dave Ramsey way. I'm not completely debt free yet but I can weather a storm for a year. Now I know most cant hold out that long. But would it be so hard to deliver your message in a less condescending way? Your message might be received just a little better.

Sorry to not want to read through 210 pages but can anyone answer two things very quickly.
1) Junior bases - how likely is SFB straight out of training.
2) Trips - are they all day trips or does anywhere (SFB especially) have actual overnights. I'd be planning on driving from the Jax area and doing this daily might not be the best.
A PM or response would be appreciated, thanks guys/gals.
