What was that comment about checking union communications before going to work?

BTW: does that mean email, text, or is there a website I now need to check?

If the NMB did grant our proffer, doesn't that require a 30 day cooling off period?

There are 2 ways to legally strike. Release from the NMB is just one of them. Stay tuned for more info (via email) on the other one. I'm not going to divulge it here.

Why would a GV captain want to join allegiant.... or possibly any 121 carrier?

Long term employment security, and eventually having a work schedule that you can plan for, are two reasons I can think of. Not looking to put words in his mouth, individual/unique considerations for everyone's situation. I'd be interested in hearing his response as well.

Well, with the 121 hiring thats been going on for the last couple years plus what is planned, the demand signal for all pilots, corporate included has to only get higher so I really don't see the job security as a corporate pilot in jeopardy. Now scheds can be an issue but overall this seems like the wrong time to be targeting allegiant for a hiring goal.
