I do know why. You have been abused by your company for so long that you are mad at the world. You have guys that have been stuck at a regional for years, constantly lied to, had your bases closed, and treated horribly.

But you guys should stop telling people to go to a regional where you don't have to commute, and then bash them when they do.

What a surprising development.
Usual suspects? We both joined APC in 2008. I have 226 post, you have 6,967. Need I say more?

I don't work for Eagle anymore, moved up, call myself lucky. Eagle is what it is, nothing more.

You just have to ask yourself. Have I done anything to degrade my profession? Only you can answer that.

# of posts is irrelevant and it's not how much you've said, but WHAT you've said. Need I say more ?

You present little difference from the usual suspects, so how can one differentiate you ?

No, that's not an ironic statement.

How many pilots are there between that latest 2007 hire upgrade and today? Didn't Envoy stop hiring for quite a while after 2007?

2007 249 pilots (6.2 months) Total 2007 hired including current Captains.

2008 159 pilots (4.0 months)
2009 0
2010 123 pilots (3.1 months)
2011 351 pilots (8.8 months)
2012 8 pilots

Not 100% up to date. Numbers are actually lower due to attrition. Those numbers were as of late last year.

Number in parentheses is how long it will take to flow each year's group at 30/month plus minor attrition.

So 30 months to flow everyone up to 2012 at 30/month. And how many between 2012 and 2016?

I don't have the exact numbers for 2013/2014 but they are very, very low. Here are the pre-2007 numbers:

2001: 78 pilots (2.4 months)
2002: 0
2003: 0
2004: 103 pilots (3.1 months)
2005: 55 pilots (1.7 months)
2006: 49 pilots (1.5 months)

Again, this is at 30/month flow and 3/month attrition.

A little birdie told me about 1,800 active pilots. Say 200-250 won't flow due to age/seniority, that's 1600 that can flow/attrit. If we use 30, that's 53 months. If you use your 3 attrition, that's 33 per, or 48 months.

Is my math pretty close? Or am I missing something else?
