As soon as your number comes up on the FIFO list you get your class date. If you haven’t hit your 2,000 hours at the Aviate regional, then they go to the next person below you until you hit your hours.
What was the program called before aviate? The one where'd they reject people on a whim with no reason. Now you just won't get selected up front if you're a white dude. Well 2500 of you will while those with less experience and qualifications leap frog you based on the color of their skin or lady parts. I'd be looking for a company that hires on merit, content of character, and doesn't judge you by the color of your skin. Air Wisconsin was always good to me when I was there but it's not a pathway to United is all I'm saying.Originally Posted by prt135
So many people misunderstand how Aviate works. Once offered a slot in Aviate, you’re then placed on the FIFO (first in first out) list. Each time someone above you transitions to United from Aviate, you move one slot closer to your class date.As soon as your number comes up on the FIFO list you get your class date.
