From my understanding, the time involved to add the CRJ-900 isn't much more than just adding the 700 since they are pretty much the same plane. Also probably scored a cheap deal for short term lease on an aircraft that would have otherwise just sat parked losing someone money. My guess is we'll see a CRJ-900 at some point parked over by the Elite CRJ-700 at the ATW hanger. The question is who's 900 are we borrowing?

Mesa has extra CRJ 900s they say they have a plan for. But if UA would take 900's why not just let Mesa fly them. I'd be game.

June schedule is much bigger and they don't have enough pilots in the right positions. Too many FOs but not enough out of recall training to upgrade more captains.
