Correct me if I’m wrong but it’s actually more than 2.2%. It’s 2.2% higher than what our 200 rates will be in October, not what they are now. I forgot the math already but it’s something like 4% higher than what we currently get (for 700 and then 900 is 2.2% higher than 700). If the arbitrator’s rates are valid today, they should go up 1.5% in October. The arbitrator never mentioned any reason why the new rates he gave would or should not increase in October.

Let's be honest though, this isn't really the place to get factual information. Most of the posts on this forum are wild rumors that get more extravagant as they grow in the crew room and on the line. Then there are those of us that take a little bit of factual information that is sent out and try to paint a more extravagant picture from it by trying to fill in the blanks on our own. As pilots we seem to always be thinking the worst and that picture that we try to enhance just gets more obscure. Sometimes it seems like we are kids with a coloring book and crayons. Coloring all over the page doesn't make you Jackson Pollock though. Moral of the story, ask someone that knows what the they are talking about instead of the angry kids with crayons.
