Maybe - it’s always a chance lol
😂😂😂😂🤣
You mean when Denver somehow won the AFC Championship and then soundly lost in the Super Bowl?

I don't think you want ZW to be the '87 Broncos. Better than the '91 Bills, though.

Dam you’re right
They came from behind and won the AFC championship game but got their asses kicked by the giants in the super bowl.
Oh well, I thought it was an inspiring analogy.😂😂

By 2023 means the draw down would start happening now. 2026 means we have time to scope out options and make career decisions instead of short term employment decisions. We already got a glimpse of what Kirby plans to replace us with this week. A 19 seat electric prop that is still in concept development to be flown by Mesa.
I’m not betting on that happening either.
However if anyone is thinking ZW, or any regional, is a career employer they are nuts. Come here, get a jet type, get 1000 hrs turbine/121 and start looking better options. If you’re in Aviate get your time and hope to transition before the end.
I don’t even think we would be safe if we got the 550’s. The airplane it’s self is a short term work around to scope limitations which are a weakness in Kirby’s dream plan.
The difference between us and Compass is I actually believe ownership wants to stay in business. Hulas didn’t and still doesn’t.
Compass was being feed a load of **** because it’s easier to sell a well staffed company than a failing company. That’s his plan now with G7 get them built up so someone will give him money for the whole operation. However if he can’t and he can walk away from the contacts without penalty like he did with TSA. C5 is in Denver now because he wanted out, and passes the contacts on to XJT.
The freighters are just a means of being able get a little more life and value out of the clapped out fleet, they are not the future of the company.

I believe everything you said except for one thing. If you believe zw will be flying 50 seaters for UA you are absolutely dillusional .
As those new planes start to come online next year you will see routes that used to be flown by 50 seaters Ord -Bna, Ord Hpn, IAd -Stl , Ord -Sav and many more like that being switched to 175s , 318s or 737s.
Reread his statement. The entire ua fleet upgrade will be complete by 2026 . The new interiors and all that will be the last part of the upgrade .The 50 seat departures will be reduced to 10% or less of mainline departures by 2023 . Read it again .
I didn’t say it , Kirby did .

If you were in Vegas, would you bet all the chips on the table for it?

But I thought you said there was a chance. Just letting you put your money where your mouth is.

I always say about other things, the Odds are Between Slim and None…and Slim just left town.

You all have no clue what the chances of anything are, and your certainty of demise is just as misinformed as anything else. You all belittle anyone who isn't convinced we are going away as dumb or unable to understand. Why don't you all just chill out and stop convincing everyone around here that the end is neigh when you haven't any more clue than anyone else.

Reasonable point. CVG will be Amazon's first mega hub. Maybe the cargo operation with 200s is a foot in the door and 737s come next?

If Bezos plans to build a global air shipping network, he will need more lift than the current ACMI operators can supply. What happens in that space over the next decade might be very interesting.

welcome to APC, the place where pilots come with all doom and gloom. This is typically quelled with proper communication from management. The only thing our management has been clear on is there is no future business at this time. See every announcement.
look we have the 700 on our cert now… but we have no flying for it.
look we are getting a freighter… but we have no flying for it.
