You guys have this all wrong...this is a matter of personal airline identity. Even if a pilot works for PSA, if he self-identifies as an AWAC pilot then he should be allowed access into the AWAC crew room. All of you people segregating a pilot based simply on his or her uniform are simply bigots. Who are you to judge how any pilot feels internally about which airline they identify with? Equal rights and equal access for trans-airline pilots!

But, ZW operates new airplanes that are in demand across the industry. Everyone wants 50 seat CRJ's. Wait. What? I guess that isn't true either.
Remind me again why people aren't leaving ZW?!?!

ZW pilots may not make a lot of money, but they have a good, stable contract with a bright future. Oh wait, no. No they don't.

Here we go again. Rehashing the obvious. Stated only a million times before. Let's hear it again.

Point #2, well, why is it such a big deal when CommutAir gets old 50 seaters and PDT does as well? Not saying the 50 seater is the future, just that it's not the death of an airline (for now).
Point #3, people are leaving in droves. It's up to the individual where they want to go. FOs are bailing for Allegiant, Spirit, and various regionals. I've been here 3 years and will ride it out for a LCC vs more (initial) money and PIC time at another regional.

People are leaving for jet blue, southwest, united, delta, atlas, spirit, Alaska, various corporate gigs, etc. There are lifers at Awac that are just riding it out with their 5 weeks of vacation, 6 figure income, decent 401k and the best medical in the industry. But most are trying to get a "better" job.
Better jobs really aren't hard to get anymore. You may not be able to go to a legacy immediately, but there are plenty of good jobs and everyone is hiring. I hope that everyone does get out and gets a better job.
Are there any new hires at ZW? Anyone that started there in the last 6 months to a year? That is who I am mainly referring to in the first place.
