I literally can't see us surviving another few years. Take a look at FLICA and see how we are down to around 645 pilots but many of the names included in that are already gone. I think the end quickly coming. Every FO I fly with seems to have their escape path laid out for another regional/corporate/LCC and some to the majors

I plan on interviewing a week from now. I love everyone here, it really is a fantastic group of people and I havent missed a rent payment, but, like I posted a few weeks back, if there is a plan, I dont see it being revealed until probably close to a year from now, after emergency mode is well into affect. Bascially what the SOS email says to me is, American might sign us, but most likely a 5 year deal with less than 60 planes, probably doing what PDT used to do on the Dash while our former routes go to their 145's. Its already happening, look at all the ITH we have bee doing, and Erie and those other crapholes. Mass exodus is 6 monthes away come spring. 8 monthes from now, theres gonna be downgrades. I dont wanna see that day. 2-5 people a class cant redeem 8-15 a month that leave from the FO side alone. Pretty soon the only people will be those close to upgrading the lifers on the captain side. Its been really nice flying with all of you.
I'll give them until exactly a year to contract expiry. I have bills to pay, and I can't put my life on hold because the company wants to wait until the last minute to get something done.

At least for American, though there's been no wiff of any other carrier looking at us for flying.

You mean those two unfortunate souls each month dumb enough to be lured in by the promise of the Visa Gift card? They must have multiple DUIs or some sort of learning deficiency...

In the Do I Have a Future Here? campaign AWAC ALPA was attempting to start up a 'move on' push that would facilitate people quitting and moving onward and upward. The idea behind it was it would push the company to the bargaining table to stop the exodus from happening. It never got past the brain storm phase.
I have a hunch, without being able to read the email, that this is what they are doing now. Push people away and keep new hires from showing up and force the company to negotiate. I don't know if that's true or not but just something that popped into my mind.
A crappy situation all around but guys on property have known about the potential for it all to end in 2018, although it was 2016 IIRC, so they got a break on that. PSA, PDT, and EVY all three had threats to close them down too. Unfortunately it's the cards one is dealt at the regional level. At least today there are tons of jobs available AND you'll get a $20k raise for making the jump as an FO, that is unheard of.

You can only BS and treat people like Sh*t for so long and then soon enough is enough.
We can barely get anyone to come here and if those who do, a majority don't make it through training.
Plus we have had 9 CAs leave so far and one retire. And looks like 12 FOs have gone.
This ship is sinking fast but those up in ATW are out of touch with reality.
