Question TT

Put this on the New hire thread , but may be some of you here could help with this as well.

Already have the minimums for ME, IFR,night and Cross country.

TT: 1406 as of now.

Can I count towards TT the following :

-Did EMB-500 at CAE DFW that was 9 SIM sessions= 18Hrs.
-Need to complete CPT , I saw on different threads that you can count 25Hrs out that as well? True false ?

This will take me to TT: 1449 Only 51 hours short?

I'm considering jumping from another regional to Air Wisconsin. I'm sure this question has been answered numerous times but what are the current upgrade times looking like? The current situation with my company has gotten to the point where even going to another regional is a vertical move. What are your guys' take on Legacy's viewing a lateral move from regional to regional? How much validity does opening IAH have? Thanks in advance and I apologize if I'm beating a dead horse with these questions. Feel free to PM me if you have any insight

We havent had an upgrade class in a long time. At this moment its a 5 year upgrade but the potential is there for it to come down depending on how many we hire.

I think one lateral move in a career is fine. I have a few friends at Delta that have had to jump around so I dont think itll hurt you so long as you have a good reason for it at the interview. Cant tell you anything about IAH as the only bases advertised were ORD and IAD. Beyond that your guess is as good as mine and Im not interested in fueling speculation

Just started indoc. Current bases DCA, PHL and Norfolk. New ones to be ORD and IAD. Talk today that Norfolk will stay as well due to the maintenance facility. No talk of IAH that I have heard.

You'll enjoy the vertical move! Totally different culture. You'll be appreciated and well paid. You're welcome to PM me for more details.

Upgrades are hard to figure since we haven't upgraded in awhile. Another thing to consider is our size. We only have around 500 pilots give or take with a little catching up to do on the FO side.

We are actually at about 450 pilots, with attrition on the order of 10-30 per month. We will need to staff up to 65 aircraft (~700 pilots), which equates to about 400 captains. The math adds up, the only questionnable variable is the amount of new hires.
