Yep. Most of their bases they're the only good airline in town, if I wasn't so horrifically in debt right now it would make the AW vs SKW decision a lot tougher.

I don't know if it's my luck, but a majority of Skywest pilots I've interacted with while non-reving and commuting have been either really rude about or absolute tools.

Sounds like bad luck, I dont think Ive ever had a negative experience with their crews.

Always very accommodating. Been in the jumpseat more than I care to admit. Always nice crews. Good looking flight attendants as well.

With wages skyrocketing I think most people going there would assume that Sky West's pay would skyrocket too when their pay agreement came up. I don't think anyone expected them to accept a 2% increase and only 4% over 5 years. About a third of inflation maybe?

Will people still go there when they can make 70,000 more going to another regional over 3 years? They don't even have a flow as far as I know.

You forget that they're "SkyWest"...they don't need fancy retention bonuses or pay schemes. They offer an experience unlike any other - and they have profit sharing!

Exactly this, they have bases all over the country and only a handful are very senior, their midwest being the most junior, they have shiny new planes, which are still coming and a very very very very expansive route network. they could pay mesa wages and still have full classes...

It looks like the compensation for Air Wisconsin for the first 3 years gives them 68,000 more in pay than Skywest. Envoy, Endevour and PSA have much higher compensation than SW too. Why is Skywest falling so far behind?
I was at GoJet. It wasn't bad at all. Actually I really enjoyed it. I left because 121 just wasn't for me.

Does anyone know where to find the medical benefits on the portal. I would like to see the differences package like the one you see in indoc. I found the breakdown of the packages but I want to determine which one I have. I think the only way to do that is to see what each cost.

I think I have the legacy ppo but may have opted for the standard ipo.
Or if you know what each one cost let me know.

anyone with insight please pm me. Thanks
