Very true. Now flip side of my story is I was planning on getting hired about 3 years prior to my hire date. So a bit unlucky there. Take the good with the bad I guess. I would have been better off sitting right seat for 6 or 7 years rather than fly small twin pistons. It was a great experience and I am thankful for that, but my bank account would have been happier at awac waiting to upgrade.

I was in a similar situation when I applied. I just responded to the email and explained that I couldn't make the dates they were offering and they immediately offered more dates to accommodate my schedule.

Best of luck

5 on 3 off typically. You get your reserve times daily from scheduling. Plan to fly quite a bit, reserves are utilized heavily at times.

From what I understand reserve is running 4 to 6 months right now.

PHL is the biggest base...it will take some time to work your way up.

They are still aggressively hiring. Every email we get has a note about pilot referrals. My guess is they would take it easy this week. But interviews almost everyday.

Hey how does the LGA base stack up in terms of seniority? Any chance of getting it right out of training? Reserve time?
