Anybody know how often they conduct interviews? I was just offered one for next week (under 24 hours from when I put in my app!) but am unable to attend due to military TDY. I also think they may have overlooked the fact that I'm not available for training, etc. till the Springtime since I'm still on active duty. Any info would be helpful, thanks in advance!

Interviews have been almost weekly in phl. I'm sure they are willing to work on your start date if they like you. We will not be stopping with hiring.

I am staying at the weekend layover hotel in ATW , the hotel van driver told me this afternoon that there has been a steady amount of new hires coming through for ground school classes , he thinks about 12 new hires every two weeks , he seems to know this because one or more of those new hires are staying at this hotel , Radisson Apple Valley hotel in Appleton , WISCONSIN

I didn't even apply at AirWisconsin, but got an email offering me an interview date. They must have gotten my info from a job fair that I attended.

I'm sure it's been buzzing around the PAPER Valley considering all flight crews except for 9E and Mesa (when we have them) stays there.

All new hires stay at the Radisson. 12 NHs is now a low number...we just increased class sizes dramatically...current indoc class has 17-19 and the January classes will be double or more.

When I interviewed years ago was told I'd sit reserve for at least a year. I ended up with two weeks of reserve with pre built lines. Sometimes you just get lucky. If I ended up sitting right seat at a regional due to some unforseen events, awac would still be my 1st choice.

Exactly, don't ever trust what you're told during the recruitment aspect. I was stuck in the right seat for 6.5 years after being told a 2 year upgrade. If I was stuck at any other regional in the right seat for that amount of time, I wouldn't be flying anymore. FO pay here is still too low, but at least you can live off of it.

Very true. Now flip side of my story is I was planning on getting hired about 3 years prior to my hire date. So a bit unlucky there. Take the good with the bad I guess. I would have been better off sitting right seat for 6 or 7 years rather than fly small twin pistons. It was a great experience and I am thankful for that, but my bank account would have been happier at awac waiting to upgrade.
