Honestly we could care less if we got jets or not at PDT. If we don't we take no hit at all but still know we will be around. Our first group has already started flowing.

I dont understand how people could bash a good airline like AWAC. Our contract is superior to every regional out there. So many people want to see us shut down and it makes no sense that people would wish that upon anyone.

PSA and PDT are haters because right now you are a thorn in their narrative that they voted in WONDERFUL industry leading contracts, that have bettered their fleet and upgrade times. They simply refuse to face their own duplicity.

Actually I don't think anyone at PDT cares. The fact remains AWAC has a bunch of planes that nobody wants just as PDT does along with a senior pilot group. Remember PDT/AWAC were a flew of the regionals people made careers out of.Replacing 90-100k captains with 45-50k ones is how they want it. Looks like AAG wants all our senior guys to flow. And looking at the first group it went very senior.
If they can keep there planes and operate the same more power to them. As for being a thorn to anyone at PDT/PSA I don't see it.

I think some people out there just are not happy if someone else is doing ok. Maybe those individuals should really concentrate on what it would take to improve their pilot groups QOL rather than interject their "inside info", that quite frankly, is most likely garbage. After retiring from another career field, it amazes me how immature and selfish professional pilots can be. How can we ever make our QOL better with this attitude as prevalent as it appears to be.

Because 45-50k is an acceptable pay scale for a captain? If thats the case, AWAC is in trouble because that is not going to happen here. I better start getting that resume updated for my next career of delivering pizzas once again. At least when I did that in the past, there was not a line of guys willing to do it for less. I keep telling myself something has got to give and this industry has to improve. Then the reality of me being delusional sets in when I read stuff posted on here.

How many senior and semi senior people at whiskey would consider a lateral move if things crumbled?
