Seriously? Like you didn't go out of your way to make sure the VX pilots became angry. You pretend the fact that we are all unified now doesn't even register to you, but every step you (management) took in the beginning was tone deaf, arrogant, and penny wise, but pound foolish. You used the clock against us, all of us.... refusing to negotiate slope. You chose to ignore the rules we are all supposed to abide by as an ill conceived show of strength (uniforms). Now you come here trying to sew discord because you know you are going to want relief on certain contractual provisions going forward, and you need a weak group to shove them through. Thing is, we all have been down this road before. We know that playbook. We know the airline industry is in the crapper, but we also know that moving slow is now in our best interest. The clock is on our side for once. We know that furloughs are likely unavoidable, but that giving up anything won't save a single job, but will hurt for a decade to come. So go ahead OTZ, repeat your same tired points over and over. We see through it.

We had the #Angry8 for four years ****ing away millions, taxing slow, breaking planes, throwing tantrums... All kinds of childish behavior, based on delusions. Would be nice to have some of that cash and goodwill right now. I wouldn’t say management is totally in the right, they need to own some of this...but the six year old tantrums have been embarrassing to watch, now we have this great caustic relationship with management... well done 183/63 and now we got our hand out for a favor.🙄
All water under the bridge at this point I guess. |
This is the Alaska Management I got to know at QX. And they double down at the mothership it seems. Completely tone deaf to the realities of their company that the accountants don’t put on the balance sheet for them to read.
They created the angry 3100. All the company had to do was ignore the orange lanyards ( not many were wearing them) for a month or two and they’d likely have gone away and the two pilot groups possibly would have continued to find things to fight about. Instead they made the only wrong move the could. They gave us something to rally around against management. And they keep doing it. Lanyards, slope, uniforms, HIMS, the contract in general. Good relationships are a two way street and this management has never wanted a relationship. |
Anybody know when this new bid is supposed to be published?

Don’t forget to throw in some gloom and doom, shade on other airlines and try and divide the pilot group. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Good relationships are a two way street and this management has never wanted a relationship. Alaska's upper management reminds me of those who were bullied growing up. Some were somewhat good in school but not high caliber enough for top tier schools. They grew up with built up anger and grudge, and used to tell themselves "I'll show them someday". Many of them have the Napoleon complex mixed with a deep rooted inferiority complex. They are typically yesmen and will do anything to climb the ladder, even if it means screwing their buddy and selling their soul. These people are narcissistic and overly self centered. Arrogant people refuse to lsiten and therefore, puzzle palace will never change. |
