Wait a second OTZ, where does B6 fit into all this. I thought B6 was merging with Alaska.

Otz is mostly right...mostly.
Alaska Airlines has no desire to operate on the east coast
Alaska Airlines has no desire to operate in the mid-west
Alaska Airlines is happy with the level of trans con performance-
they only want to haul westerners on a transcon and the haul them back
Alaska Airlines is happy with their performance to Hawaii and could care less how much SWA flies there or anywhere
for that matter.
Alaska Airlines is happy with their Pilot CBA management. 20 plus years with out giving any gains in any area.
They are not concerned about increases that just stay in line with inflation
Growth is not something they think about or waste time on. If it happens to happen then they are good with it....
Alaska Airlines is now, has been and will always be a great job in crappy times and a crappy job in great times....
Nothing changes

A Hawaiian merger? Seriously?
The MAX can’t make it from Honolulu to Sydney.
