Got friends at Delta, the top 6 CAs at LAX 737 Captain pulled 14-17 days off for June. (Except one had vacation, more days off). But the top guys only getting 14-17 off sounds kinda bad. Not even like they were 90+hr lines. Nope, just your standard 65-87 hr stuff.

I think you misunderstood me, or you're in denial of reality, so I'll try to clarify. I'm simply making the point that the Union's work is never done as there'll always be new or ongoing issues to address.
The pilots and the union, after the contract is signed, will not be happy with EVERYTHING in the contract. Negotiating capital will be spent to deal with the most pressing issues as identified by the pilot body, which means that there WILL be compromise on others. That's just a fact.
Going forward, the union will continue to listen to the pilots, and if they're doing their job, as I believe they are and will, they're gonna push management for continued improvements. It has little to do with the dictates of the last arbitrator. You can rant and rave all you want, but that's just the nature of the relationship between organised labor, and management.
The work will continue.

That's it? Im a drunk? Good one. Congratulations, you've mastered "Fisher Price, my first attempt at talking s%%t"..... Why did you edit "Goodie Goodie deli" to just "deli"? I was gonna pass on responding to this gibberish but you piqued my intrest after you edited your post. Heads up for next time, Inside jokes don't go the distance if no one knows WTF you're talking about. Once again OTZ, you're doing my work for me.

The only thing saving this airline is that demand is through the roof. The travel market is red hot right now, and we're shrinking capacity due to a lack of pilots.
Tell me again how no one is batting an eye or that the pilots have no leverage.

You should know by now that Alaska management always over promises and under delivers. Goalposts are already in motion.

I personally believe this travel demand is representative of those who were locked down and never went somewhere during Covid, and this spring/summer they are going out with a vengeance. As the year progresses, I see that slowing. Don't know how much you're paying attention but pretty much everyone is raising the alarm on where this country's economy is headed in the next 12 months. I don't think it bodes well for the airlines.

AS isn't the only one cutting flights this summer. Other airlines are as well. But we don't mention that. We only talk the good parts of the other airlines, not their problems (many of which are the same here).
