I don’t think any FO’s will end up displaced out of LAX. I would guess maybe as many as 50 Captains could be displaced out of LAX. My guess is enough CA’s bid SFO for seniority purposes that only around 15-20 are actually at risk.

You know what would help with all of this? More bases.

The trips out of SFO have a lot of red eyes and from what I hear are not great. I doubt many will bid for seniority on terrible trips.

The people who pay your salary care. While you prob dont sit in back as a commuter, many of us do. Alaska’s airplanes are junky. They are old before they are new. And they are uncomfortable. Thought we were talking about clapped out junkers not new jobs….Satcom and CPDLC are overrated anyway

Like all regional airlines, we are full in the back…..In our clapped, AD and MEL ridden jalopies. The PNW passengers are conditioned to this and they feel socially responsible riding around in uncomfortable airplanes. Since we have no O&D traffic east of Spokane this works well. No argument from me as it relates to full airplanes and share holder value. The 737-9MAX is a perfect mascot for our recently signed contract. Old hoar with a new dress.
