It takes some luck and flexibility. If you can get training displaced, which is really a crap shoot, or some other paid conflict, and then grab some double ofter the top, it's possible to get the occasional windfall.

I know multiple people who are 120 plus this month. A captain last month who did some pickup on his days off on reserve did 140 ish. This is pay not credit.

You’ve never gotten a 90-100 hr credit month?

It’s doable. They key is a P2P grab to increase 90 hr cap (now changed to FAR max with new contract). And then swap lower credit trips for higher credit trips, especially trips with DHs because that keeps you below FAR 100 hrs in 28 days while paying 100% for the flight. I’ve routinely gotten 100+ hr credit months with about 15-17 days of work, 13-15 days off.

Easily doable, I’m at 139 pay for the month.

I tell my mentees to budget on guarantee for 79 hours. That being said I am working 20 days this month, 4 were in the sim and I'm working all 4 holidays. right now my pay is over 135 for the month. This month it is an absolute anomaly. We have had 2 once a year meltdowns, this month and there is double premium available. It's super unrealistic to expect this on even an annual basis. Bragging about high numbers this month is extremely misleading.

old contract not really possible. With the contract much easier. I picked up a 3 day in Jan (I’m on Airbus so rolling the the dice I hoping I wont get called on reserve) and with the Holliday pay I’m getting 96 (ik ik Holliday pay is pay only not credit close enough) credits for Jan

The 18% voted down a contract that has insane scheduling rules. Delay pay, 200% for not getting home on first legal deadhead, 150% reassignment pay.

After this ice storm, I’m hearing guys having 70 hour 4 days. Guys who were supposed to fly sea to lax going sea to las so their entire 20 hour pairing is now worth 30. They get back 18 hours later and tack on an additional 8 hours of delay pay making it 38. Contractual max is 14 hour duty day so they ask for a deadhead next day to get released and hop on another flight to get home extend the delay pay another 12 hours for 6 hours of pay for 44.

The devil is in the details.
