I wish ALPA would scrub names and publish numbers for 2022. The most clueless on here would be absolutely shocked! $561,000, I have 9,200 that went into my 401k that was NOT included (which is the max for an option A guy) My W2 will be around 530,000 as medical and personal 401k contributions are not taxed, so not included in W2 earnings. Many made more than me! But yes it is really hard to make more than 90-100 hours of credit at Alaska.🤔 Almost all of that money was made under the old contract. What can a AS pilot make now😱

Avg days off and block for the year with that W2?

Even if you can get training to buy stuff and then pop a premium in you have to watch Rainmaker like a hawk. Keep screenshots of everything. Record every single change to your schedule.
Granted I have a pretty good month coming up but tracking everything has been a nightmare and I am not sure if I will see the money. Even with all the precautions I have taken.

But since we are having a discussion on the internet, it’s natural for pilots to bring up their “friend” at Delta or Southwest or United or name-your-favorite-other-airline who takes advantage of some golden nugget in their contract at their airline and and makes a half a million doing so.

Glad to have the new contract in place. Personally it made me over 5k this week alone with the new reroute language. Some however wish it wasn't in place and we were picketing through the ice storm to get an extra 5 bucks an hour possibly in 2024.

Luckily we don't need to go on feelings and anecdotal evidence from the angry 18. We can just go to flightaware and see actual damage. Alaska did an excellent job for 3 of our bases essentially shutting down for days.
