Being home and/or loving my job means a lot more.

About a year ago, spirit put out a contract comparison. Is there one for this contract? I’d love to see how the new contract compares.
So much cringe. Please respect yourself, your fellow pilots, and the industry more than that. This airline, with it’s profit margins, near-single fleet, low costs, lack of widebodies, and brand loyalty should pay the highest narrowbody rates in the country, and provide us with the highest QOL of our peers.

No. I was a fairly junior captain prior to the merger and am a mid level captain now with less QOL.

With that attitude you are a shoe in at AS. They are built on guys excepting less than they deserve.

Hours later, I’m still in awe at the naivety…

How were you getting a 35k profit share with Virign? And only 5-6k here? I don’t recall profit shares that big at VX.

I really am tired of you. I said 25-35 and 7-9. Stop trying to justify your point by falsely stating MY words.

VX was shot in the head Dec 2016. Just because the name existed until 2018 doesn’t mean it was actually still a thing. Your(ours) compensation pre JCBA arbitration, with the new rates, was never above post JCBA arbitration. So to include your 25-35 bonus as a “QoL” issue is rediculous. Perhaps youre tempted to count 2018 as you got the new AS merged post JCBA rates and still had VX sked rules. Those two things combined would have NEVER been combined at stand alone VX. And your “19” days off a month is, no doubt, a look back practice of exaggeration as well.. had you said 16-19 that would have been realistic…… those days will be back by April of 2024 unless one of OTZ’s 8 different merger predictions come true.

Spoken like a true AS Eagle flying the jet. Let me guess AF at McCord then Alaskan Airways. Your condescending tone is all I get from the AS Eagles. Just because you didn’t experience it, it must be a lie.

Genuine question: Is his math wrong? Were your highest paid VX days/and max days off because of your VX pay/work rules or were they that temporary time when you had VX work rules/PBS/and JCBA pay?

I didn’t mean to offend, I just don’t understand the context/what this referred to:

”Went from getting 25-35k profit sharing to 7-9k performance based bonus.”
