I also think the Amazon contract will either be cancelled or not renewed. Ultimately there may not be a need for the pilot numbers you mention being stuffed into our remaining bases.
I'm only referring to the current Alaska side. This just proves how unserious you are.

Delta dude, do it. She's calling your name. You can go talk crap about AS while looking super cool in that blazer.
He'll still be miserable and have a whole new set of problems to complain about. Example: his entire career.

Probably until the Summer schedule.

Almost like someone doesn't understand that the staffing requirements change during the year and that management has discovered new tools to deal with that.

Attempting to control how a pilot uses THEIR accrued benefit and any attempt at influencing the use of said accrued benefit should be viewed as overreach, just the same as if management attempted to influence how you spend your paycheck or invest your 401k savings, and treated as such. Such overreach should be forwarded for ethics review accordingly.
I remember not too long ago our CP and a few others claimed they’d be looking into sick calls during the Christmas period as well as checking on the prevalence of things like the flu…

So now they assume religious beliefs and after 2021-2023 think they have a handle on science and medicine? I assume they’ll also consider how many kids a pilot has at home, how the flu is spreading in those kids schools and any other factors that contribute to household sickness.

All completely laughable.

The rumor was that if we opened SAN we would have to reduce LAX and SFO. That seems to be rather accurate.

Our staffing requirements are really going to change when they close LAX, SFO and park the 700s

You really can't make this stuff up. We're opening the base that pilots have been clamoring for for at least a decade and finally hiring again and still....

DOWNGRADES and FURLOUGHS!!!!!!!!!!!

Now they are.
