Does anyone have an estimate of when they might open the application window again?

True. D8Y goes before active employees (E1Y) and retirees (E2Y). In theory, you're only supposed to use D8Y between your home and base, but the dirty little secret is that the computer respects D8Y between any two AS cities. Its a different code for QX, so that can get a bit sticky between QX and AS cities.

Absolutely. See above. I've never personally heard anyone "prosecuted" for abusing D8Y, but I guess it could happen. I knew one Captain who had been an IP and continued to use his IP code for YEARS after he left the training department. AS isn't too good at following up on status changes. But then, if you're an IT guy in SEA and you work for AS, you probably aren't the cream of the crop.

I second that emotion.

Our customers get a much better IT experience though.

In anticipation of the window opening can someone let us know who to address the cover letter to? Also address would be helpful.
Thanks

Anyone abusing the commuter LOA risks losing it for everyone. Don't be "that guy"

At least 2 options, plan ahead, communicate early and often, should have no problems.
