He asked for advice. I’m telling him the piece of advice that’s best for his future.. otherwise he is destined for a career where management gives him play dough on pilot appreciation day

You can't gain any seniority on the bus and will likely be displaced within 6 months. The remaining 10 NEOs we have will likely be reserved for the 25 most senior CAs and FO lineholders and 25 new hires on eternal reserve until they can bid off the plane.

Enjoy your free bus type before displacement, it will help you get hired by a better airline in the near future.

Looks like the first couple classes didn't have a choice, all Airbus. After that it should be mixed Boeing and Airbus. The future is Boeing and Airbus will continue to see displacements. Looks like end of 2023 sees about 12-15 total remaining. Gut feeling is if the next bid is effective Fall 2022, it should open SFO Boeing and displace SFO Airbus. LAX Bus should eventually be the long Bus base.

Ah I forgot!!! The bubbles! What a thoughtful gift that show they take our group as professionals and they appreciate us!

I bet even shy guy can’t defend them giving us play dough and bubbles to blow as a token of the appreciation. Although he really does continue to surprise us with how much he loves his life getting worse. Shy?
