Be prepared for some version of "Why Alaska when brand x is also hiring?". It's not the easiest question to come up with a convincing response for in the current environment. We have turned into a bit of a type rating school and I'm sure they are getting sensitive about all of the new hires getting trained and bailing.

Of course everyone knows that “traffic” is not part of that 2hrs right. If you can reasonably make it at 2 am in terms of distance and speed limit then you are good to go…So…100 miles or so is a good conservative number.

Not recommended as a proby…But it only matters when you are on reserve. And if they only give you to hours to report to the airport which contractually is 45 minutes before departure…That is on them…However, if you are living out at the edge of that 100-120 mi limit, you best be motorin in earnest when you hang up the phone…
